I went to work for SWBT on February 5, 1973 as a Frame Tech. I then bid on an Installation job and got that. I went from there to Cable Splicing, became an Exchange Repair Tech. I finished up my Career as a Communications Tech.

With CWA, I became a Job Steward and in1972 was elected Vice President of our Local.

In 1973, I became President of our Local and now am serving as Vice President over the Telephone side of our Union.
